| Culture News has been always a very important part of the newspaper. Reading becomes a more and more popular topic. More people start to read and love to read. On that condition, the role of reading news becomes more important in newspaper. Nowadays, the way of reading is getting changed. People read on the phone or the computer rather than on the paper, and they are busy working and prefer to read at the time when they are waiting for something. On this background, the newspaper should do some change to adapt itself to the new habit of the readers. This paper aims to do the layout plan with layout of Shanghai Book Fair report on Qianjiang Evening News as the case study.
