A Comparative Study On The Economic Strategies Of News Communication Of "Chutian Metropolis Daily" And"Qianjiang Evening News"

With the deepening of reform and opening up, China’s economy has been growing rapidly, living standards of our society is continually going up, the cooperation in regional economy continues to deepen. Regional economy, such as Tianjin-Tangshan Economic Zone, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river economic belt, Pearl River Delta economic zone,continues a trend of further development.In this background, the economic development of our country is still the focus of the whole society; so that audience demand for economic news is getting stronger and stronger. As regional metropolitan newspapers, Chutian Metropolis Daily and Qianjiang Evening News, which have influence in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river area,, have unique characteristics and research value in economic news reports.This paper mainly studied communication strategies of the two newspapers in economic news reports. By adopting the research method of quantitative analysis, this paper used knowledge and theory which are related with journalism and communication to analyze the economy of the two newspapers news reports using communication strategies. By studying communication strategy of the two newspapers in contents, images and the way of reporting, this paper analyzed the two newspapers’distinguishing feature of communication strategies in economic news report, compared the similarities and differences in communication strategy of the two newspapers, and also analyzed the their deficiency in communication strategy.This study found that regional economic news reports is insufficient, regional cooperation in news report is less, local characteristic economy group activity reports is lacking, mode of transmission is not diverse, and less attention is paid to weekend economic news reports, etc. This study put forward constructive practice guideline to the problems mentioned above and provided certain reference for a better role in the process of future the two newspapers will play, and how to make better use of communication strategy in economic news report for metropolitan newspapers to exert a greater effect on social and economic development.
