Power Integrated Circuit combined signal processing, sensor and power transmission in one chip, it greatly reduced circuit system cost and system volume as well as improved system reliability, which realized system intelligent and miniaturization. Power IC occupied more than two-thirds of4C electronic market, therefore, it has great significance to do research on power IC.In this thesis, the author conducted some in-depth study on motor driving circuit and digital control power amplifier, which are all classified as power IC. A motor driving circuit working at24V/5V dual supply voltage and provided2A load current is proposed. This design tape out with BCD0.25um process and possess hysteretic over-temperature protection function as well as has mechanism to prevent the same bridge arm’s short circuit. Another design-a digital control power amplifier working at840-960MHz is proposed as well. It is designed with CMOS0.13um process. Its output power reached8dBm with30%PAE, it realized5bit32output tunnels and its output power could be digital controlled from-23dBm to8dBm with1dB linear step.In the design of motor driving circuit, the author introduced motor mathematical model and three-phase motor’s operation mode. And then proposed the whole circuits’structure according to design specifications. The author focused on the design of high/low gate driver, input logic protection circuit, over-temperature circuit and driving circuit. And accomplish circuit simulation and layout design with Cadence Spectre and Calibre, and completed part of testing work.In the design of digital control power amplifier, the author introduced RFID system and the design principle of power amplifier. And then proposed the whole circuits’ structure according to design specifications. Then focused on the design of32tunnels attenuator circuit and power amplifier circuit. And conducted simulation and layout design with EDA software, then gave post layout simulation result.Last, the author gave some suggestions on power IC layout design based on the author’s own layout design experience...
