With the progress of science and technology, the variety and quantity of products grow with each passing day. Enterprises have to pay attention to product innovation and service quality in order to gain competitive advantage. However, traditional product lifecycle management is limited to the design and production stage of products, lacking for the support of logistics, useage and maintenance phase of the product data, and there is no processing mechanism for product recycling. This has serious impact on enhancing the quality of service.The main contributions of this thesis:the closed-loop product life cycle management (C-L PLM is short for Closed-Loop Product Lifecycle Management) has been introduced, and the C-L PLM system of low-temperature plasma equipments has been designed, and the middleware system and some functional components have been developed. The device used to acquisite equipments data automatically (referred to as PEID, short for Product Embedded Information Device) has been designed and developed, and a data expression format of XML is established. A data processing strategy based on priority has been proposed.The main work contents of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, the analysis, acquisition and expression of equipment data resource:first of all, the data resources of various phases of the business of the products and its existing forms were analysised comprehensivly, and the model of the information flow between the various business stages was established. Then, the product data sources were analyzed, and the data acquisition framework of each data source was established. A scalable PEID was developed to acquisite product dynamic data. Finally, the data exchange format of equipments was established.Secondly, designing of the C-L PLM system of plasma devices:firstly, the functional requirements of the system were analysised based on UML usecase diagram. Secondly, the function module of the system was design, and the system users and their permissions were determined. Then, the architecture of the whole system was designed, a technical system for implementation of the system was described brifly. Then the information exchange interface (Middleware) of an application layer of the system was designed, and a data processing strategy based on priority has been defined to ensure that important data and real-time data of the equipments can be processed in a timely manner. Then, the business logic of the system was designed mainly through the UML class diagram, and the database model of the whole system was designed and developed. Finally, the man-machine interface was designed and developed.Finally, the development of function module and the feasibility of the system: firstly, the test system was designed and realized. Then, the middleware was developed and its validation was tested. Finally, the document management function and remote upgrade function were developed and tested.The above work will provide a reference value for small and medium enterprises to establish perfect product lifecycle management system.
