This paper’s content is two-ticket system of thermal power plants development research based on extensible markup language XML. Two-ticket system refers to the work tickets and operation tickets arrangement system. As credientials of behavioral norms in a variety of production activities, work tickets and operation tickets are powerful guarantee of safe production in thermal power plants.At the Internet era, Web tcchnologies are increasingly used in enterprise-level project management system. In this context, many thermal power plants have archived under the B/S(Browser/Server) mode network of two-ticket system project management. The current system of thermal power plant to fill tickets’ content and browse coupon tickets’ information is splitted into two operation, which is contrary to the WYSIWYG(what you see is what you get) interface design principles, and the effiency of read and storage is relatively low. For the inadequacies of the current two-ticket system proposed in this paper based on the Extensible Markup Language XML thermal power plant two-ticket system, and design the system’s architecture, the front display, and the use of database.Through the study of XML technology, the use of XML features to make it apply to the details of the face burdensome style store. XML document involves relatively large, the use of storage-based e Xist XML database. At the same time, two votes system also involves a lot of highly structured data, in dealing with these data in the XML database query efficiency is far less than the relational database, when you try to use both database systems in two votes, thus causing integration problems with relational database XML database. After study of the existing heterogeneous database technology, data exchange proposed XRDI heterogeneous databases based technology to complete XML databases and relational databases.Finally, the use of SVG, XQuery, XSLT, and so constructed based on XML technology to achieve a system diagram B/S mode, WYSIWYG interface filling tickets and more. And for the practical usage of XRDI technology improved, adjusting the structure of the data storage: the use of relational database stored procedure to fill a single node ticket information, use e Xist database storage structure style face burdensome information, with the server-side technology to complete interactive data javaScript. Improved efficiency XRDI technology in the read data in heterogeneous database systems ticket increased nearly a hundredfold, further improving the heterogeneous database system data query efficiency.
