Study About Heterogeneous Database Integration And Its Application On Power Plant Integrative Information System

Along with the development of the electric power trade's enterpriseinformation construction, the database system has become the most used method inpower plant information management. For improving the information level ofenterprise to face the fierce market competition, the requirement for informationsharing has increased progressively inside power groups.According to the practical item demand and the actuality of power plantinformation construction, this paper raises a heterogeneous database integrationplan basing on XML and Web Service, and introduces these involved technologies.This integration plan makes fully use of the current network resources, and hasgotten merits as low-investment, easy to manage and flexible deployment, realizedthe heterogeneous database information sharing in a better way among many powerplants.
