Strip test of immune colloidal-gold has become a routine detection method, which has a very wide range of application in many domains, such as biomedicine, agriculture, environmental monitoring, food safety, etc. At present, the readings of strip test result is still in the qualitative level which dependent on the human eyes, and accurate quantitative measurement can not be achieved. In addition, the results of some special detection need to be saved in real time, such as customs drug testing and other, which not only requires accurate results, but also needs to improve the detection efficiency. Therefore, designing a miniaturized portable analyzer which can achieve quick and accurate detection, real-time record storage, and compatible with all types of colloidal-gold strip has become the market demand.To solve many problems that in the process of strips test, this paper designed a detector of immune colloidal gold strips based on Raspberry Pi, the main work is as follows:Firstly, understand the working principle of colloidal gold strips, combined with domestic and foreign research status and design concept, design appropriate detection scheme for the reaction color development property of strips.Secondly, set up the overall structure of the system; introduce the detection principle of system; expound on the various modules and their functions, including uniform illumination light path, the central control system Raspberry Pi, camera, printer and touch screen.Thirdly, describe the specific method about image processing in system. System uses two-dimensional code to distinguish different types of test strips, not only achieve test strips detection zone positioning, but expand the scope of the detector, make the instrument realize a variety of types of strip detection. Detection system carries graying, filtering and eliminating noise, image segmentation, binarization and other operations for the collected test strips image, ultimately successfully extract gray value data of color belt in test strips.Finally, select the best experimental condition of system by adjusting the operating voltage of LED and acquisition frame rate of camera. Correct measurement data of test strips by using a set of gray standard ribbon, so that the measurement results closer to the true value. Furthermore, the measurement results of repeatable measurements show that the system has a high stability, the coefficient of variation(CV) control in less than 5 ‰.Testing equipment for immune colloidal-gold strips designed by this paper is able to not only measure the strip gray value accurately, but print test results in real time, has the advantage of easy operation, meet the inspection requirements of different types of test strips, with good value and development prospects.
