The colloidal gold rapid testing originates from the discovery of colloidalgold combined with Biological macromolecules. This testing technology is easy tooperate,low cost and convenient, etc. Because of the above advantages, it is widelyused in various fields, such as food safety testing, clinical diagnosis andenvironment pollution detection, etc. But traditional testing results will bring greatervisual error, so the research relates to the gold standard quantitative analyticalinstruments has become a hot area of research in recent years.In this paper, the quantitative colloidal gold quantitative instrument make gooduse of the color information of the test-line and the control-line.Cloud model of thetest-line and the control-line color data was built to get the characteristic vectorangle in CIEXYZ, CIELab and HSV those three color spaces. Then the functionrelation between the characteristic vector angle and the concentration of the testsubstance solution was found to achieve quantitative analysis. The hardware designand the software design of this paper as follows:The hardware part of this system choose the microprocessorSTM32F207IGT6as the main chip to control of various part of the hardware. Both5V and3.3V voltage regulator modules were designed to supply the power forhardware components, including LED lighting design, camera of the imageacquisition module and the printer module, etc. The USB communication interfacewas designed to ensure the signal communication with the PC.The core parts of the software part includes the acquisition and storage of theimage, the target area segmentation of the image processing, computing of thefeature vector angle and obtaining the function of the vector with the solution data.Through this designed part to ensure the system running normally and realizequantitative analysis of the test material solution. Finally, the system verified by experiment. The experiment research object wasthe retinol binding protein which is the clinical renal tubular diagnosis index.Different concentrations of the retinol binding protein solution were prepared. Thestability and error rate of the designed system were evaluated through a lotsexperiments. The result compared with the method of gray and Euclidean distance.
