A Research On Knowledge Linking And Applying Of Knowledge Linking In The Network Knowledge Service

With the continuous development of human society, all kinds of high-tech have sprung up. World has entered the era of knowledge economy. Different from the agricultural economy and the industrial economy, the biggest driving force in the economic development of the knowledge economy comes from the knowledge. Knowledge is the crystallization of human wisdom, which promotes the advancement of human society. Conform to the trend of the times, information services transition to knowledge services become an inevitable trend. To provide knowledge services, knowledge must be managed. K nowledge linking is effective ways and means of knowledge management.In this paper, a systematic study of knowledge link ing has launch from theory to application then to empirical. First author analyzes current research of the knowledge linking, briefly combines the currently existing research results and a commentary. Then points out that there are some serious problems in this area, e.g. how to make objects of knowledge linking more diverse, how to make the system of knowledge linking more open, how to make the quality of knowledge linking better. Theory of knowledge linking is studied such as concept, types, production, development, features, functions, principles, models and building methods. Knowledge linking is a link between a knowledge unit and another knowledge unit. It takes semantic logic relation between knowledge units as the objective basis, relates knowledge units according to certain rules, assembles knowledge units according to specific needs, and further constitutes a system of knowledge network. Author classifies knowledge linking from the two dimensions of link state and link object, cleans up course of its development according to the time, analyzes the characteristics and functions, builds the simple model and expounds the four step construction method of knowledge linking. O n the basis of these theories, the applied theories of knowledge linking in the network knowledge service are studied. Author studies concept and features of network knowledge service, she thinks that network knowledge service is a kind of knowledge service which is done with internet. Combining knowledge linking and network knowledge service, four advantages are pointed out: same description model of knowledge objects, semantically description of knowledge association, and flexible discovery mechanism of knowledge and coincident access mechanism of knowledge. The four advantages make knowledge linking become hot spots of network knowledge service. Semantic web technology, grid, navigation database and knowledge database are major technology which applies knowledge linking in network knowledge service. There are three application modes: based on the application of consulting services, based on the application of web self- service and based on the application of personalized service. At the same time, the application principles and functions are analyzed. Finally, author analyses the empirical based on CNKI and WIKI as a case, analyzing their structure and the specific application of knowledge linking.
