The security of trains become increasingly important with the increasing of the three kinds of train.The vehicle is the the key part of a train.as well as the danger zone. With the expansion of railway and speeding of train,as well as details of assembly,lubricating and so on,the bearings of the train go wrong easily and faster. Thus we must develop the study of diagnosis of the train bearing faults.There are many methods of fault diagnosis,including the analysis of temperature, oil,acoustic diagnosis and vibration.The first two methods have much defects,the third one has the advantage of costs and effect of diagnosis but also many technical problems difficult to solve.The method of vibration can not only achieve online monitor but also diagnose early faults.This is a method worth to research though it has defects of large cost and little false alarm.This paper will show a new online monitoring system of train bearing based on vibration data collection and wireless transmission.The system can collect vibration data from train bearings directly via vibration sensor,then transport it to PC to monitor by wireless transmission.Because the data acquired by our system come from the bearing directly,it can avoid the problems of acoustic signal.The system can not also inherit the advantage of traditional car system,but also avoid the disadvantage of costs and false alarm to a certain extent.The job of this paper is in following:(1).Comparison of current main methods of bearing diagnosis,specifically acoustic and vibration methods.And their advantages and disadvantages are summarized.(2).Showing the idea of the overall design of our system in this paper.(3).Showing the design of hardware and software of the system,especially wireless communication protocol of our system.(4).The discussion of the algorithm of signal processing and the simulation.(5). Experiment on the reliability of the system in the reception of data.(6).Showing the direction of future work.
