With the development of embedded technology, Internet of Things and embeddedtechnology integration is a new development direction. The information transmission and postdata processing has been relatively mature, acquisition front-end information is among the mostcritical issues need to be addressed. Complicated due to the Internet of Things information, asingle RF acquisition has not been able to satisfy the need, in this context puts forward theinformation acquisition scheme consists of RF and video, will accelerate the development ofthe Internet of things, broaden the application field, has the certain practical significance andthe application prospect.For the acquisition and processing of RF and video information, the TI DM6467ARM+DSP dual core processor based on the architecture of DaVinci was used as the controlprocessor. ARM as the main controller, to manage the radio frequency and video processingtasks; DSP is mainly responsible for the processing of the data, such as H.264algorithm. Themain topic to complete the design and development of systems is through both hardware andsoftware aspects.System hardware utilizes a modular design of embedded systems, including videocapture module, radio frequency RFID reader module, memory modules, power modules andother peripheral interface module. The video capture module selected TI TVP5158videocodec chip to achieve four video captures. AS3992was chosen to achieve915M RFID readerdesign in RF module. Taking into account the output power of the chip itself from its limitedliteracy problems, need to go through the power amplifier, low-pass filtering, isolation circuitto ensure that the reader identify the distance and noise immunity.Software design of the system includes system migration, Linux driver development andvideo capture coding implementations. In order to better scheduling system, you need totransplant Linux operating system to manage the system tasks and resources. Build a goodsoftware development platform, making modifications bootloader U-boot, porting Linuxkernel and root file system. Add TVP5158, I2C drive, using Linux multi thread mechanism torealize video coding, and ensure the synchronization between threads. Codec Engine theoretical study was conducted, complete the communication between ARM and DSP, andH.264algorithm is written to complete the preparation of the video image capture throughencoding Codec Engine.This article completed including RF, video acquisition system hardware, software design.Video coding image was clear and smooth, no frame loss phenomenon, and it reached thedesign requirements. Internet of Things information collection terminal can be widely used inhotels, scientific research, banks need identity authentication security and logistics,transportation and other fields, the market prospect is broad.
