In the21st century the nature of competition is the talent competition, talent is the corecompetitiveness of enterprises, and the competitiveness of enterprises will eventually becomethe competition between enterprises’ human resources management capacity. During myinternship in China North Industries Group Corporation of the Human Resource DevelopmentCentre, after the research I learned that the situation is as follows: the group members ofcorporation are very large and they also have different circumstances, some members of thecorporation have their own management system but the system only has a single functionwhich can’t fully support the conduct of work; Currently the running management systems arenot unified management which led to the business information is inconsistent and the sharingof information can not be timely; Another, after years of development the historical data isenough, but lack the related technical support, which make these data into the "dead data".Combined with the practical problems, in order to build the HR system of China NorthIndustries Group, the detailed analysis of human resource management is necessary. And thendesign the human resource management system based on data warehouse. By using datawarehouse, first the business data of members can be of unified, and then the existinghistorical data can be processed, reorganized and loaded into the data warehouse to makethem as useful information, finally we can make simple data analysis in the data warehouse toto provide scientific decision support for human resource managers. The human resourcessystem is based on multi-tier architecture for web application. The Web application has astronger integration of the characteristics of information systems and the processing oroperations can be performed anytime and anywhere, also it can provide better scalability.By using above methods after the design and implementation of the system, the humanresource system fix business workflow of the human resources to reduce the burden on thetraditional personnel affairs and thus improve the overall efficiency working of human resources; and then the technology has been achieved integrated management and can beaccurate, timely sharing. Finally the historical data can be re-used, the system uses the data inthe data warehouse can be analyzed in recruitment, staff and training of personnel to provideimportant reference of decision-making for human resource managers.
