With the development of economy and the rising of people’s living standard, auto industry obtained the swift and violent development. Under the new situation, the automobile enterprises also face the challenges, along with the increase of the car sale quantity is becoming higher, requirement of the management of the automotive retail becomes higher. The research of automotive retail management system has received extensive attention of car companies.At present automobile enterprise in our country mostly adopts the traditional sales management mode to record the actual sales, using artificial approach to management.This way makes the cycle time of car sales becomes longer with low efficiency and high error rate. Besides it’s not easy to statistics and analysis of the information of all regionals.The information acrossing regions,is mostly transferred by the way of email, phone and fax, which is transferred with no timeliness, accuracy and safety. Retail data will not be able to get a good share in the enterprise that makes it hard to make effective development strategy for many areas. Existing retail management platform does not cover all the links during the process of the marketing with dispersion function, makeing the efficiency hard to ascend and duplication of effort increases. The function of the dispersion will cause different functions do not have a unified data format. Therefore, in today’s era of information technology, a set of mature retail management system need to be provided for automotive retail management, which covers all the steps, function and unified data management standard in the process of selling system.This paper is based on the present situation of the deficiency existing in China’s automobile industry and retail research, with fully understand of all operations and requirements during car retailing. Then we design and implement a set of mature and complete management system to manage automotive retail process,the unified data standard and data sharing. This system can manage all operations in the process of car companies in the retail, ranging from the following-up of the sales to the customer’s intentions to customer try-out driving and to sign and report the order, as well as to store and manage data information, which can shorten the cycle of automotive retail enterprise, get good effect and can improve enterprise comprehensive ability to a certain extent.The work of this paper is based on the research and analysis of the background and the current situation of the development of the automotive retail industry, on which the process of link and the data were analyzed and summarized. So the functional requirements of automotive retail management system and the performance requirements to guarantee the system can run well is got, which is the goal of system designing. Using c#as development language, SQL SERVER as the database system for data storage, the function of the system is implemented.
