The journalism education is exotic, starting late in our country. Although the development is rapid, there are still many problems in the local teaching deficiencies. Journalism education has a high view of practicality and application requirements. The practical teaching becomes a key strategy of personnel training, focusing on the ability of students in the use of knowledge and technology to solve practical problems. For the detachment of theory and practice, formality classroom practice and other issues in journalism courses, we need to build a fusion of knowledge in the learning process to teach and practice news curriculum learning model to improve the current traditional teaching process in some deficiencies.As a very important learning approach in the21st century, caught my attention, experiential learning is a student-centered and effective learning style.This paper carries on with literature review, survey research and so on. It collects and collates the fields and current situation of Chinese and foreign experts on applying experiential learning, then combined questionnaire analysis of the existing practice of journalism curriculum model. Based on the lack of experience analyzing curriculum, we design model of journalism experience courses from four ways, such as studies curriculum objectives, course content, course profile, curriculum evaluation. This paper is of some significance for betterment of the theory system in journalism professional training course designing and supervising in higher vocational training practice.First of all, according to the knowledge classification, we divide the journalism courses into four types, such as declarative knowledge, procedural knowledge, technical knowledge and awareness knowledge on the basis of experiential learning model, then combined with five principles and three means of introduction of situation to stimulate learners’interest in learning. Following this we establish a reasonable appraisal way, includes both the mastery of basic knowledge and development of application ability to build experiential learning model in journalism courses based on the knowledge classification, with the practice of the experimental classes in comparative classes, we illustrate the validity of the learning model. At last, summarize the main innovative points and some questions which will be resolved, point out the speculate on the future development in the integration between journalism courses and experiential learning.
