Adult higher education plays an important role in the higher education of our country. As an effective way of life-long education, it is becoming a more and more important part of the education system. Besides, the quality of adult higher education will influence on the qualities of people in our country. The 16th Party Congress emphasized, "To build a learning society in which all the people will learn or even pursue life-long education and promote the people's development in all areas." That call has endowed a tough historical responsibility to the adult higher vocational education.However, comparing with general higher education and other types of education, adult education has its own characteristics. And the key points of improving the quality of adult higher education are to carry out on teaching reform, to research into teaching strategy and set up new teaching mode in accordance with characteristic of adult learners.At present, the motivation and strategy of learning of adult learners have become an important issue in the field of adult education study. What kind of teaching and learning methods could stimulate and last the interest and motivation in adult learners? Basing on this idea and particularity of cooperative learning and analysis of adult learning, I have introduced cooperative learning mode into class on computer for my learners who are taking the adult higher vocational education. After my exploration and implementation, I hope this article will be helpful and illuminable to the teachers and administrators of adult education.This subject adopts action research and law of educational experiment to prove that cooperation, communication and appreciation are on the top of ways to foster adult learners' interest in learning.The subject will be introduced as follows:Section one: To introduce the selection of title, purpose and significance of this study.Section two: To sum up the basic theory, element and implementing strategy of cooperative learning including its development and issues on adult learning at home and abroad.Section three: To introduce project and flow of cooperative learning in groups during class of major course of adult learners as computer major.
