Reactive power compensation control system plays the role of abnormal control terminal capacitor to improve the power factor of the grid in the power grid, reactive power compensation and optimization of power system. The grid layout is wide in the urban and rural areas. And in some remote place where traffic is not convenient, equipment problems are difficult to be timely treated. In view of this situation, this paper designs a kind of non intelligent reactive power compensation control system based on GPRS. The system includes hardware system and software system.This paper first analyses the traditional reactive power compensation principle, and designs the embedded reactive power compensation system based on the ARM system, by using LPC2292 chip as the control core, SIM900A module as a GPRS communication terminal, the data acquisition module, electric energy reading meter module and the reactive power compensation module as the integrate reactive power compensation system. Secondly, this paper designs the hardware circuit of the system, integrates the optimal match of each module. Using the flyback switching power supply, so that the system power will realize the stepless regulation in a certain range, the AD7E55 integrated energy measurement circuit to measure the electric energy stable quasi. Using the optimized selection of simulation signal collection circuit and micro power wireless communication interface circuit and so on to make the system more reliable and stable. Then it introduces the control algorithm of reactive power compensation system and the software design. The system uses the Linux operating system, which designs for modular tasks, including data acquisition and processing tasks, communication terminal task and cascade processing task, calculation and analysis of reactive power compensation capacity in the task module of reactive power compensation, calculation of optimal compensation strategy and analysis of control method. Finally conducting the GPRS communication testing and software testing of the system and finds it achieves the desired results. The design is conducive to safe operation of power grid distribution, has certain economic benefits, and has positive effect on improving the quality of power supply and real-time monitoring.
