The Design And Implementation Of Educational Management Information System Of Adult And Continuing Education Based On The WEB

With the development of the learning society, people are about to study over all their lives. It has become normal for the relearn and re-employment of the talents which requires revolution in the adult and continuing education and the educational management of institutions of higher learning. In order to meet such special requirements, the applying of computer information technology becomes necessary as it offers technical and operational support for the revolution of educational management of adult and continuing education. Because of the dispersed teaching schools of adult and continuing education, it is not easy to have centralized management on the staffs, teachers and students, who can only communicate with each other through telephones, e-mails, paper documents and other methods under traditional management system in which the information cannot be timely, effectively or accurately conveyed, and also, the management is difficult to control. Therefore, it is necessary to use the full developed network technology, database technology and other computer technologies to build an effective, stable and secure educational management system for adult and continuing education based on the WEB.The paper makes a systematical analysis for the educational management system of adult and continuing education in the institutions of higher education based on the WEB and makes a detailed interpretation on the design process of the said system. Firstly, a feasibility analysis is made on the implementation of educational management system of adult and continuing education in the institutions of higher education based on the WEB. This paper will present a thorough analysis on.NET framework, WEB technology, ORACLE Database and others; secondly, a feasibility analysis is made according to the demands of the educational management system ofadult and continuing education in the institutions of higher education based on the WEB, and an interpretation on the implementation of the aforesaid system is presented in several aspects, including preliminary design, demand analysis, detailed design, the implementation of code, the implementation of system and the tests of the system; finally, in accordance with the existing educational management system of adult and continuing education in the institutions of higher education based on the WEB along with the expectations on the future educational management system of adult and continuing education in the institutions of higher education based on the WEB, the author will try to find the defects of the system so as to improve the following versions of the above-mentioned system.
