The Research Of Private Book-collection Of Hebei In The Yuan Dynasty

The private book-collection of Hebei has a long history. According to relevant statistics, the number of book collectors in Hebei occupies in the top-ranking of the country in Northern Song dynasty .In Jin dynasty, Hebei became one of the centers of book production. After Song Dynasty and Jin Dynasty, the book-collection of Yuan Dynasty in Hebei, continued to be prosperous.I have cited various documents and materials in the article, such as, epitaphs, local records, biography, history records, collected works in Yuan Dynasty, in order to search the detailed information of the private book-collectors of Hebei in Yuan Dynasty. On the basis of the collected information of twenty-one bibliophiles, a comprehensive research on private book collection in Hebei is made, including the causes of the development of private book-collection, the correction of some weaknesses of previous study, the regional distribution of the book-collection in the Yuan Dynasty in Hebei, the life experience and the contributions of important bibliophiles and so on. At the end of this dissertation, the requiring further studies are discussed.
