The private book-collection is an important part of ancient collection of books in China.The private book-collection of Sichuan began in the late Tang and the Five Dynasties.The private book-collection of Sichuan prospered and peaked in the Song Dynasty.Finally,the private book-collection of Sichuan gradually declined from the Ming to the Qing Dynasty.This paper takes the bibliophilists and their book-collecting activities of Sichuan in the Song Dynasty as the research object.On the basis of systemically sorting out the historical materials of bibliophilists,this paper discusses the group characteristics and book-collecting characteristics of bibliophilists of Sichuan in the Song Dynasty,and investigates the influence of the private book-collection of Sichuan in the Song Dynasty on the development of local culture.This paper is split into five parts.First of all,the introduction mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the topic,the history and current situation of the research,the key and difficult points of the research and the research methods of the private book-collection of Sichuan in the Song Dynasty.The first chapter basically introduces the historical background of the flourishing of private book-collection of Sichuan in the Song Dynasty,and narrates it from four aspects: policy,economy,culture and education,publishing.The second chapter systematically studies the group characteristics of bibliophilists of Sichuan in the Song Dynasty,which is divided into three sections: bibliophilists' family,the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of bibliophiles,and the social identity of bibliophiles.Most of the bibliophilists of Sichuan in the Song Dynasty appeared in the form of families,and there were some who passed on for three generations.The bibliophilists of Sichuan in the Song Dynasty had certain rules in time and region distribution.The third chapter combs the historical materials of the book-collecting activities of bibliophilists and explains the characteristics of private book-collection of Sichuan in the Song Dynasty.The fourth chapter starts from the education and academic activities of bibliophilists,to explore the influence of their book-collection career on the development of local culture.
