The book-collection of Ming Dynasty in Fujian,continued to be prosperous after Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty. According to relevant statistics, the number of book-collector is the third-highest in the country,only less than that of Jiangsu and Zhejiang.The quantity of collected books had also increased.Especially in the mid and late of Ming Dynasty,there appeared some book-collectors who were influential in the nation,such as Chendi,Xubo,Xie Zhao-zhe,Huang Ju-zhong,Cao Xue-quan.The prosperity phenomenon received the common positive impact of society politics,economy, science and technology factors at that time.The article is on the basis of the forefathers' study,it takes full use of the Ming and Qing Dynasties various documents and material,such as notes,local records,tablet biography,history records,literature works,to search the private book-collector of Fujian in the Ming Dynasty. Through the collector's life Story, the deeds of book-collecting, the thought of the books collection,the features of books collection, the author analyzes the regional characteristic of the book-collection in the Ming Dynasty in Fujian,and summarizes the historical contribution of books collection.
