The Research On The Construction Of Mainsream Media Micro-Blog For Unexpected Public Events

In recent years, influenced by constructivism, a lot of scholars who support theory of reflection are starting to accept and research on this trend of thought from the perspective of their subject in varying degrees, which develops the media construction thought.Dating from the origin of theory, the idea comes from the knowledge sociology, symbolic interactionism and critical discourse analysis, which study on the objective reality, subjective reality and reality and the relationship of them. Bipymraid model clearly describes the interaction of them.In this interaction, there are two aspects that are worthy of studying and discussing:first, power, which means who have influence in interaction; second, significance, which means what is finally born in interaction.To research on the construction of sudden public events from the mainstream media micro-blog, this study is based on media construction thought which is treated as the research paradigm and uses the frame theory and the agenda setting theory as research tool, taking the MH370 event report from the people’s daily micro-blog as example.The first aim is to discuss the construction of power in the report of mainstream media micro-blog for public emergency, that is who effects in the interaction. In this target, two questions are hoped to be answered:one is whether report of mainstream media micro-blog has impact on perception of the public. The other is whether perception of the public has influence on report of mainstream media reports micro-blog.The second goal of the study is to discuss construction of significance in the report of mainstream media micro-blog for public emergency, which means what is produced in the interaction.In this target, the study hopes to get the state of public emergency in report of mainstream media micro-blog at all stages.The study found that, in the aspect of power construction, mainstream media micro-blog still has strong control ability, and the status of discourse power of the public increases. In the aspect of significance construction, the source of the report mostly comes from new media, objective report is in the majority, the leading role is different on every period. The disadvantage is the bad quality, lyrical expression and ignorence of psychological needs of the public.
