Research On The Problems Of The University Archives’ Information Ecological Niche And Its Countermeasures

With the continuous development of information industry and the rise of all kinds of information service institutions, university archives should continuously reform and innovate, adjusting the work plan to adapt to the constant growing demand of the universities and society. In view of the relationship between the university archives and its information environment as well as the relationship between the organisms in ecology and the ecological are different in approach but equally satisfactory in result, so the paper brings in the information niche theory in ecology to illustrate the university archives and its ecological system. On the basis of the theory of information ecology, the paper studies the existing situation of university archives and the current situation of the working and with the help of illustrating the current situation of the university archives, the paper puts forward suggests and strategies to optimize its survival present situation and the service level.This article includes the following content:The first part is the introduction parts; including the reasons of studying the university archives information niche, the research status in the domestic and abroad, the research target, ideas, methods, innovation points and other basic information.The second part illustrates the main theory; there are three kinds of theories, including the ecosystem theory, information ecosystem and the Niche theory, the university archives information niche.The third part discusses the existing problems of the university archives information niche and its problem cause.
