RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) is a kind of un-touched identify technology, it starting, developing and maturing since 90 s, 20 th century. It possess low frequency and high frequency RFID, which low frequency RFID is based on 125kHz、13.56MHz; high frequency RFID is distribute between 902 MHz to 928 MHz, for example 915MHz、2.45GHz、5.8GHz. It’s basic principle is that Radio Frequency signal can coupling in space and radar signal can reflect, it can identify and change data by this characteristic. RFID system includes electronic tag and reader at least. Electronic tag is the data carrier of the RFID system, which consist by tag antenna and tag IC.This paper based on the ISO/IEC 15693 standard, design RFID reader which is working at the frequency of 13.56 MHz, and the main processor is TMS320LF2407 A. It describes the theory of RFID system and explains on the mechanism about RFID system which is working on 13.56 MHz. Then it depicts the project of design the RFID system hardware which based on ISO/IEC 15693 standard. In order to meet the request of real time processing, the reader’s DSP software which consist of coder, decoder and anti-collision algorithm have been designed in Software. Finally, several application fields of the designed reader are introduced briefly.
