Research On Parking Lot Detection And License Plate Recognition System In Intelligent Parking

WithWith the rapid development of national economy,people's material life is getting richer,the car has become one of the common transport of ordinary people to travel,car travel brings convenience to people but also the parking problem is more prominent,how to make use of space resources,deal with the problem of parking in the city is an important task of city development.Therefore,the research and development of intelligent parking lot management system to solve the parking demand is of great significance.This paper introduces a design based on infrared detection,intelligent ZigBee communication and license plate recognition technology parking lot management system.The system has the advantages of convenient operation,simple management and high degree of automation,strong security and so on.This paper focuses on the license plate recognition and parking space detection of these two parts to develop research.License plate recognition,including image preprocessing,license plate location,character segmentation,character recognition process.Get the gray image after denoising by preprocessing a series,this paper designs a kind of morphology and scanning algorithm based on the license plate area accurately positioning,using vertical projection method and improved normalization method the segmentation of character images of the same size,the character recognition method based on BP neural network,BP neural network as the classifier,and to improve the design,use character images as samples.The experimental results show that this method has high recognition rate.The parking space detection part,using infrared ranging module and CC2530 chip combination of parking state information acquisition,use ZigBee communication technology successfully set up the wireless sensor network,stall detection module,routing nodes successfully joined the network,through the transmission of the ZigBee network,terminal nodes collect parking information can be successfully received the coordinator,the Coordinator the information received will be sent through the serial port to the host computer to facilitate the administrator for monitoring and management of parking spaces.Finally,this paper analyzed the structure of the parking management system,and describes the working process of the PC management software for the preparation of the software realization of the user login,access management,vehicle information query,space monitoring and other functions.
