As the current number of motor vehicles are growing,the need of motor vehicle parking increases,which causes that the requirements of parking management are higher.However,nowadays the parking management system is faced with lots of problems,such as paying too much attention to the charging function and the lack of effective monitoring measures.With the development of mobile Internet,the driver also needs a kind of software in the mobile phone,which can help them to find the parking spaces.Therefore,this paper designed an intelligent management system for large parking lot.And multi-licens e plate recognition algorithm plays an important role in intelligent parking management system.Many functions in intelligent parking lot management system depend on multi-license plate recognition algorithm Identify the results.The main contents of this paper include:(1)The various algorithms,which are commonly used in the steps of license plate recognition,are elaborated.By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the algorithm,and taking advantages of various algorithms,a new multi-license plate positioning method is put forward.Firstly,in order not to omit the potential license plate area,license plate candidate area is rough selected via the methods of the text positioning,color detection and edge detection respectively;Then tilt correction processing of license plate candidate region is achieved;finally the license plate candidate area is extracted to be used as the feature information,and the license plate area is accurately located with use of support vector machine.Experiments show that the multi-license plate positioning method has high accuracy and strong anti-interference ability.(2)Based on the results of multi-license plate positioning method,this paper uses the method of connecting area to segment the license plate characters.Finally,this paper uses the BP neural network algorithm to identify the license plate characters,thus realizing the recognition of multiple license plates.The algorithm uses C ++ language and OpenCV implementation.Experiments show that the multi-license plate positioning method and identification method are of high accuracy and strong anti-interference ability.(3)A design of intelligent management system for a large parking lot is proposed,the system server realized by Java language,the server uses the HTTP protocol to do data interaction with multi-license plate recognition module,the mobile phone client realized by Objective-C language.The system design of the parking space booking,gateway control,parking billing and vehicle search module.(4)This article developed the intelligent parking lot mobile phone software,by using the mobile phone software,the user can view the parking space information of the surrounding parking lot,and reserve the parking lot which he or she is satisfied with.The system can calculate the parking time and costs accurately based on the license plate recognition system.The user can pay parking fees on the phone,after their phone and vehicle was bound.This system can be used on the phone,through the mobile phone booking parking,billing parking fees,more in line with modern lifestyles,while improving the efficiency of the parking lot.
