With the rapid development of computer control technology and network technology maturing, control system is applied more and more extensively, control objects become more and more complex. The control system is moving towards digital, networked, and intelligent direction. Log periodic antenna as HF antenna has been widely used in communication and disaster relief and other special occasions. Based on the networked control technology maturity and the actual user’s requirements, the network control for the rotated log periodic antenna is proposed.According to the networked controll requirement of the rotated antenna, by using computer network, communication, and database technology, the overall scheme of control system is designed based on B/S framework. The system is composed of Web server, communication server, network control unit, antenna drive unit and antenna structure, in which the Web server provides network antenna control for IE users, communication server just like a communication hub which connects the Web server and the terminal equipment, and antenna drive control unit mainly completes antenna control. According to the development requirements of the network control unit(NCU), the communication core equipment of the system, by using embedded technology and field bus communication technology, the design of the NCU overall, the core CPU board of the NCU, optical communication board, relay board and the power board are completed, the principle and design idea of the main hardware circuit are introduced in detail. Based on the embedded operation system μC/OS-II, using task, queue, state machine and TCP/IP network communication, control software is developed, and the following functions of rotated antenna are realized, such as the fixed-point, positioning, inching, calibration and parameter setting. The thesis also proposes the total design framework of the controller, its detailed program process, and the state machine of keyboard management, etc.On this basis, the system testing platform is set up, and the NCU equipment level function test and system level alignment test is done. The results show that the architecture design of the network control system is reasonable, the communication of the network control unit is reliable and its operation is stable. The network control unit can meet the function and performance requirements as a communications hub. At present, the complete set of equipment has been delivered to users.
