The Research Of Navigation Design Of Mobile News Client Based On Cognitive Psychology

In recent years, the users of mobile Internet have a rapid growth, and the coverage of mobile devices increase very fast. Mobile applications have had an impact on all aspects of our lives. It changed how people get news and information, and makes mobile news client become one of the major ways for people to obtain information.On the current situation of mobile news client, on one hand, mobile news client has a very large market. On the other hand, the mobile news client also has many deficiencies.Especially the problems in the navigation have a negative impact on the core experience of the product and limits the mobile news client’s development. Therefore, proposing a set of effective navigation design principles is necessary, for the current development status and design problems of news client.The paper studied mobile news client users and rationality of navigation design from the point of cognitive psychology in order to obtain design principle to optimize the navigation structure, layout and presentation, to guidance mobile news client navigation design, enable mobile news client users get news resources more easily, and improve the product experience.The research mainly includes the following two parts:In part one, it analyzed the cognitive features of mobile news client users. It mainly contained users’ characteristics of attention, memory, perception and language understanding under relative factor.In part two, it analyzed user’s behavior and navigation design of the mobile news client.According to user’s cognitive characteristics, the analysis mainly contained the rationality of the information architecture, layout, interactive and visual presentation. And summarized the problem found during study.Meshing the two parts above, derived mobile news client navigation design principles,and gave designed guidance on the architecture, layout, interactive and visual aspects of mobile news client navigation.At last, under the guidance of the navigation design principles,completed mobile news client navigation design practice.
