| Partial discharge(PD) is one of the main factors of malfunction of electric power equipment, PD can further accelerate the aging of insulation, affecting seriously the normal operation of power system. In view of the PD detection method, and the frequency characteristics of the electromagnetic wave. By the software system simulation and actual test, we designed three different working frequencies of ultra high frequency(UHF) antennas for detecting PD electromagnetic wave leakage signal. At the same time, through the actual test the performance of antenna, parameters meet the standard of partial discharge detection antenna. The thesis mainly contains the following content:1. We introduced the reasons and background of PD, the development trend of PD detection method and antenna in the present stage. For UHF antenna in the application of PD detection, we combined with GIS structure in the actual, set up the corresponding equivalent model. Using the Ansoft HFSS, we get the leak radiation electric field distribution characteristic of the electromagnetic wave of PD signals in different size gaps.2. According to the radiation distribution characteristics of electromagnetic wave of PD signals, there are different frequency spectrum of electromagnetic wave signals distribution in different size gaps. Based on the butterfly structure antenna, we designed the UHF microstrip antenna worked in different frequency spectrum. The antenna achieved the miniaturization and ultra wide band through open slot and impedance converter. By the simulation optimization, the antenna working frequency band is consistent with the UHF signal spectrum distribution of PD. The simulation results shows that parameters of the antenna can meet the requirements in PD UHF band.3. We using vector network analyzer to measure basic parameters of butterfly antenna, and semicircle antenna and slotting antenna. The parameters include return loss, VSWR and impedance characteristic. The measured results are consistent with the simulation results. The antenna has advantages within high gain and wide frequency range. It is meet the requirements of the parameters of the PD detection antenna. |
