In recent years, TV entertainments in China have encountered many problems, just like excessive entertainment and a trend toward low taste. The causes of these problems are to attach too much importance to the rating and the chaotic competitive environment. However, the social responsibility it should bear has been severely neglected. In this context, facing the national policy, public attention and the pressing needs of media, the entertainment itself, target audience and companies, a lot of entertainments begin to pay more and more attention to the public welfare.What is more, this phenomenon has gradually become a trend.The phenomenon of TV entertainments concerning public welfare in China have witnessed a prosperous scene, nevertheless, the existing circumstances of this reform are not optimistic. Along with the increasing development of it, more and more problems are brought to our attention.If we do not take prompt and effective measures, things will get worse.Given this, based on the investigation and research of the existing material, this paper explains the many types of entertainments which concern public welfare in detail, such as the theme of public welfare runs throughout the entertainment, the placement of public links, select commonweal theme, promote civilization concept and add public subtitles. At the same time, this paper reveals various problems existing among them,for instance, entertainment and commercial too strong, uneven level of creative expression, the way to concern public welfare does not match the situation of entertainment, the theme be selected is too narrow and lack of timeliness and short life cycle.On that basis, this paper attempts to analysis the effect of external ecological environment, participating subjects and the entertainment itself on the entertainments of public welfare.In the end,we will put forward some counter measures: optimize the external environment, establish healthy relationships with every participating subjects like companies, target audience, media, welfare resources, and improve their own level of production entertainment in order to achieve the reform healthy and sustainable development.
