Research And Design Of Educational Management GIS-based Decision Support System

Along with the continuous deepening of the reform of education modernization in China in recent years, more and more widely applied in the field of information technology in education management. The introduction of information management system greatly improved the efficiency of education management, and provide effective data and information for the decision of education management support. The current used by the department of education of traditional information processing model has been difficult to adapt to the education modernization needs. Into geographic information system(GIS), and with its superiority to the function of information management system, enhance the level of education management is of great significance. Because of this focus in the study of this paper is to design a GIS based decision support system for the management of education, as the core and decision system software design related research work.Current education field information management level is low, a lot of information, such as school location, the archives information of teachers and students in the independent, a lot of data and information are stored in the form of the traditional office file. Even some information by artificial transcribing way according to the traditional model for storage of archives, and the information integration and sharing between level is very low. Promulgated by the ministry of education of the education informationization ten years planning(2011-2020) "to encourage education department for information resources integration, promote the modernization of management specific requirements are put forward. This article through to analysis the situation of the management of Hohhot city department of education, and then design a set of integrated GIS education management decision support system, to provide education management and education decision makers information integration and sharing and auxiliary decision support.In this paper, we study the decision support system development environment chose the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 environment, geographic information system is to use the ESRI company development of ArcGIS system. Because education management departments involved information data is relatively single feature, so the choice of the database management system integrated Access to Microsoft office software. In order to enhance the management effect of education management decision support system, first of all, through the relevant teaching information management needs of Hohhot is analyzed, and then on the basis of the specific software development train of thought and basic framework and function of the development of the basic prototype of the system.This article main research content includes the following points:First, the study of education management decision support system involves the content, significance and current research situation at home and abroad were expounded, and the technical route and innovation of this study were expounded.Second, analysis of the system design requirements, and then from the design objective, train of thought and the system structure, function and interface design.Third, design the background database of this system.Fourth, complete the main functions of the system function design of the system after the demonstration analysis.Fifth, to discuss the future of the decision support system for the management of education and development.This system has realized the functions include map browsing, information query and location query function, to realize the function in this paper is introduced in detail and show.
