Since reform and opening up, our country maintains the average GDP increasing at 7% around which results the improving of people’s living standard; but the big amount usage of nature resource, especially the disparity between water resource supply and demand becomes more and more intensive along with the economic developing. On the other side, our country’s agriculture industry is on the way developing, traditional concept is still in people’s mind as they think water is the free resource. So there are still many problems among our agriculture irritation, like big amount using of water, low efficiency and waste of water.Increasing the water recourse utilization of the agriculture irritation can significantly help on the water resource shortage of agriculture. Promoting to use the intelligence water-saving irritation system, having an enhancing level of the agriculture irritation automation and intelligence, will be the essential choice to resolve the water resource shortage and promote agriculture modernization. And a land environment and weather based irritation system can effectively increase the water utilization. However, manual monitoring land environment will cost lot’s manual work, also cannot real time monitoring; while wire monitoring system will have high cost on the wire setting up, hard to expend, and inconvenient to land work. So, if we can design a wireless sensor network based agriculture irritation system, which could free the farmers, technicians out of the lands but still could acknowledge the agriculture status then arrange the irritation work based on the agriculture environment. What’s more, farmers, technicians can utilize the local soft and hardware resources to analyze the remote agriculture environment data, real time monitor, and intelligence control. Finally we could free up the human resource.Based on that, this article will complete the designation of the agriculture irritation monitoring and controlling system by utilizing the ZigBee wireless sensor network. First of all, analyze the features both of wireless sensor network and agriculture monitoring and controlling system, then finish the system overall framework designation; elaborate the designation of the WSN end device, router and coordinator by modeling designing method; second, selectSHT11 as the temperature and humility sensor, BH1750 as the array sensor and CC2530 as the core chip to enable the function control, data analyze and wireless transferring; third, complete the system hardware circuit designation, code compiling and software designing, detail elaborate the key circuit as well as the program, optimize the power consumption; last, complete the system test and validate by establishing the WSN agriculture irritation system in land, validating the function of end device data collection, WSN data transferring, client data analyze and command.
