The Introduction of GIS technology is making the management of all walks of life become more intuitive, especially in the field of oil exploration and development, there are large number of data to manage and to displace. The application of GIS technology gives the interaction between people and massive data, and largely helps managements do some decisions and planning about oil and gas resources, not only greatly improve the efficiency of oil and gas resource management, but also enables managers to accurately and timely access to the condition of resource’s distribution and utilization, increasingly becoming an essential module to the data management.Now component GIS is a popular way to develop the software, which is flexible, cheap, and what’s more, developer needn’t to use special GIS development language, all of those make it possible to non-professional users to develop and integrated applications.With the large number of data provided by Ministry of Land Resources’ Oil and Gas centers, this paper have down much work on data’ consolidation and integration. down some research on the existing data and related geospatial data, according to the needs of query, finished database design with Powerdesigner software; Base on geographic information system’ demand about oil and gas fields completed the design of spatial database. Using the sqlserver2012 as a terminal database to store large number of spatial and attribute data, and using the Arc SDE spatial data engine as channel to store and manage spatial database in the data storage platform, and then using Arc GIS engine with visual studio 2012 as a platform combined with C # programming techniques and Arc GIS engine API interface and C / S mode work together to build a GIS-based field management platform, the use of the three-tier architecture for data and business stratified to achieve independence of the module.Considering the user’s needs, this thesis has completed some contents:① Put a large number of scattered oil and gas resource data into order and designed the database’s structure based on the current data, at the same time imported the data to database successfully.② Completed coding standard of spatial data, and designed spatial database structure on the existing data, finally, imported spatial data into database successfully.③ Combined with the system functional requirements of users, this system has designed three functional modules, such as quering data functional modules, graphical presentation modules of data and output functional modules.④ On the base of the main functions of the modules, this system has finished some other assisted functions, such as opening, adding, saving, zooming, paning, fixing scaled down, fixing scaling, full view, last view, next view, scaling the stating of mouse, xy coordinate points, identification and measurement.The software has been running very well on actual national oil and gas fields of massive data, including spatial queries, attribute query, conditional query and map rendering and other business function test, and having a practical application. This paper just have a sample for Daqing and have a data test for all of the region’s oil and gas fields, the software has been basically designed to achieve the desired effect. Herein the development model used in the software provides a perfect model for reference in China’s oil industry applications.
