Wu Xiaofeng, a former deputy editor-in-chief of Southern Weekend;Chen Chaohua, former general manager of Southern Metropolis; Xia Chen’an, Zhejiang Satellite TV station director; Luo Zhenyu, China Central Television producer of "Dialogue" program. The departure of so many media bosses, raised a new trend of traditional media workers leave. It is understood that the departure of tide is the third time of traditional media experienced.Compared with the previous two, the departure tide presents an unprecedented new features, the impacts on the traditional media are more violent.Strengthen institutional controls, the media market shrinking, advertisers "disintermediation" disruptive impact strengthen the bleak judgment of traditional media. And traditional media transformation direction is not clear and the whole media industry collective anxiety infect to every practitioner. Traditional media workers cannot be self-fulfilling, "to leave or to stay" has been a thinking and discussion topic of many traditional media workers. The further development of mobile Internet technology, and the opportunity outside of the system increase gradually, which bring traditional media workers more path to leave and more possibilities of success. This traditional media departure tide although dilute the talent of traditional media agencies, but promote the mobility of the entire media industry, and that exposed the disadvantages has great meaning for during the transformation of traditional media. Because traditional media organizations only to solve these system vulnerabilities and the disadvantages, can they curb the departure to a certain extent. But under the background of traditional media struggling, the study focus of the industry and academia is the media transformation- turn or not, how to turn, what is the paths and methods of transformation, but few people pay attention to traditional media workers of the transformation. But they are the leaders, participants and stakeholders. The transformation research must be people-oriented, from the perspective of the traditional media works study the media transformation. In this paper, after combing the exit path of traditional media workers, emphatically discussed their leaving reason and then reveals the disadvantages of the traditional media, which provided another way of thinking and way of solving the media transformation. Compared with talking about transformation from itself, there was more practical and feasible. Therefore, this article had strong theoretical and practical significance. The article firstly defined three tides of traditional media workers leave and summed up six kinds of exit path. Compared with the first two departure tides, summarized new characteristics of this tide. Then from two levels to explore reasons of traditional media people leave:self-realization frustrated, opportunities increased outside which were voluntarily quit reasons; media ecological environment was worse, new media impact further, which were passive reasons. In addition, from the traditional media, traditional media organizations, the media industry three aspects to explore the influences of departure, and then put forward the coping strategies of traditional media. It is important to note mat because thought depth, theoretical level and media experience of author is limited, the last reference to traditional media response to exit strategy is just a way of thinking. And traditional media way of coping styles and transformation need to slowly groping and be perfected in practice. Each media agency for the transformation of the traditional path is not the same, only the summary from the failure, from the improvement in the summary, there is a possibility of success.
