The magic of television media plays far more than its propaganda function, the publics obtain the vicissitudes of life in the world predominantly by television. as an independent cultural system, the production and consumption process of television were concerned by academics and television practitioners. In recent years, the development of television programs is particularly rapid, presenting a flourishing scene of prosperity. Except for the advance in promoting social development, the program producers enrich their own ecosystem because they draw the material from the society and interact with television and social activities.On October 2013, a program of parent-child interaction (’star dad and lovely child’) login screen and caused widespread concern. The entertaining program charactered by teaching in happiness became the most popular parent-child TV show in 2013, and gained great social and economic benefit. Consequently, this study will focus on the current development of the television programs of ’parents-child interaction’. In detail, we will employ the analyze methods of ’Communication & Sociology’ to explain the profound reasons of the popular of’Where Are We Going, Dad’. Finally, we will study the communication text, narrative strategy, communication effect and social influence, find out the advantages and avoid disadvantages, to provide some suggestions for the development of the program.Parent-child interaction TV show’s contribution has its inherent social context, social transformation produce single-child education problems and an aging population, consumption star with boom reached unprecedented heights of the economy, cultural evolution make the family culture idea to go back to the mainstream, and media development and the evolution programs abound and changeful form. Parent-child interaction from TV program text, parents and children as the main body of narrative the emotional needs of the audience, to participate in the program of the guest or selling of funny, or the true feelings, in a way that is happy and positive energy to show family parent-child relationship is the focal point that conveys the class program. Hunan entertainment channel where the father is focus on depicting the image of his father, in the form of "soft" impact on the audience for "father" traditional stereotypes, highlighted the education significance of this program. From TV parent-child interaction effects and social effects, the spread of this kind of programs to meet the needs of the audience diversity, programs of entertainment stars and children become a very popular topic after a meal, and satisfy the demands of national education, parent-child interaction more viewers interpersonal communication model, in addition, family parent-child education really is the concern of the young parents.However, parent-child interaction TV show is also exist at the same time in the crazy growth of problems. Homogeneity serious imbalance, the artificial overweight trace, entertainment and education become the bottleneck of restricting the class program development, only grasp the audience characteristics, brand characteristics and innovation consciousness to make parent-child interaction TV show develop more healthy.
