With the rise of the Rich Internet Applications (RIA for short) technology, it is plausible to build up a complex game system with diversified operations and shining graphics which enable the blowout of web games. Teenagers prefer to play web games and have an intimate relationship with players in the virtual community, thus isolated from the family members, and the parent-child communication takes the form of table-meeting with the highlighted problem of parent-child conflicts. By reading and analyzing the related research works both domestic and overseas educators and experts, it can be found that the motivation for the worse and worse parent-child conflicts can be classified into two aspects:the adolescents are in special transitional period and their parents lack knowledge and skills of parental education. Although the related domestic and overseas parental education training is currently launched, it does not work efficiently enough in practice owning to little spare time in which parents attend the regular training courses or lectures. The research, by analyzing the domestic and overseas works on parent-child interaction documentations and surveying the latest technologies of web-based games, the theme, typology and operation mode of the parent-child web games, the status quo of the parent-child parental education and cognition in necessity, aims at designing a Parent-Child Interactive Somatic Web Game supported by the Parent-Child Web-based games, in the context of the Parent-Child Education Theory, the Family Function Process Mode Theory and the theories concerned with the adolescent’s cognitive development, which enables a psychological independence, equality, understanding and observing rules. In the research the user-oriented script language ActionScript3.0and the performing language MXML are employed, in which the development environment integrates FlashBuilder and Flash. Besides, the J2EE technology is employed by the service terminal and the MINA technology is used in the communicative network application framework. The game platform includes such four modules as the Parent-child Main Quests, the Perfect Parents Training Camp, the Youth Career Experience Hall and the Family Exchange Visit Plate. These modules provide three functions:emotion-supported, instrumental services which include consultative and suggestive services, and social expectations which implies what an appropriate behavior is and what is not, in which parents and children can experience the game together in the context of vivid scenes and role immersion feelings, thus improving the parent-child communicating and understanding for enjoyment of the two parties.By testing the web games, accumulating the parent-child players’behaviors data, and analyzing the report on time-consumption of the parent-child players, the parents-child players’side quests, the parent-child players’collaboration main quests, and the social network distribution of family in the community, the research concludes that the parent-child co-playing surely have a positive effect upon the parent-child interaction by further improving the parent-child web games, and the design of parental education side quests help acquiring parenting skills and effective communicative skills, aiming at assisting parents to be highly-efficient. It can be said that the research opens up a new direction of parent-child games for further researchers, and provides a new mode and exemplification by sheding light upon some certain theoretical and practical significance.
