| PDM (Product Data Management) system is popular in the manufacturing enterprises, and CAD/EDA is also widely used in the application of machinery manufacturing industry. In traditional manufacturing enterprises or small and medium manufacturing enterprises, when these enterprises need to rapidly response to customers’demands for mass customization, they still carry on a traditional method of design software integration only. This method of product design is hardly to meet the updating design requirements, and these intuitive disadvantages are reflected as follows:placing design documents of mechanical and electrical parts in archive on the same platform, standardizing design and redundant data issues etc. These problems result in production efficiency decrease and production cost increase. Therefore it is necessary to integrate CAD/EDA data with PDM system in a unified management platform as new design method.The aim of this thesis is to integrate different data into CAD/EDA and PDM system. And data can be outputted orderly and completely to a unified platform for management. First introduced the PDM and CAD/EDA at home and abroad research situation and the difficulty of this project, then the integrated design of CAD/EDA and PDM system were discussed, the integrated design scheme and the specific design process is introduced, and finally the PDM and CAD/EDA instance of integration.This paper combined2-D technology of CAD, product data management, database technology, integrated electrical technology (Altium) to generate a solution based on PDM and CAD/EDA integration. And in this way, a prompt response for customer demand in rapid product and parts design can be realized. In order to giving a better support to the design technology of mass customization, the key technology of CAD/EDA and PDM integration was studied on the basis of the feature table technology. In the interface integration mode, a three-layer system frame was carried into the integration of EDA, CAD and PDM system. The logic data structure of this integration system was introduced to investigate several main functional interfaces. |
