Research And Implementation Of The Integrated Test Tool For Hss

As the development of the next generation network, IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)becomes a hot research spot of the global communication field. The software for the HSS system becomes more and more complex, but the requirement for the software quality becomes stringent, so how to measure and evaluate the software reasonably becomes an important task during the development process of the HSS system, and it is of great importance to develop a testing tool to test the HSS system.Through deeply study of the IMS structure and Diameter protocol, combining with the work during the internship, the author designs and implements an integrated test tool to test the HSS system in order to ensure the quality of the system. This tool simulates the function of the CSCF and the AS network elements, and uses the Opendiameter Framework, writes all the test cases in XML format, which can be easily applied in functional testing and performance testing process.The author is mainly responsible for the design and implementation of the test case conversion module, communication module and use case implementation module during the entire project. Communication module is a low-level module, which serves the upper system; Use case conversion module is the foundation module, which is used for translating the XML formatted file messages into the file format that HSS system can be analyzed; Use case implementation module is the core module, which is used for analysis and output the test result.
