Research On Cutting Tool Management System Based On Component Technology

This paper did a thorough research on the cutting tool management system, especially for the NC cutting tool's multi-parameter storage technology, cutting tool intellectual choice & matching technology, Data Grid technology based on JSP custom Tag and cutting tool order form automatic generation technology. And also, the integration technology of cutting tool management system with CAPP, DNC and production management system was researched. At the same time, the methodology of software engineering was used for the design and development of cutting tool management system. The main research includes:1. Combine theory with practice, and propose a solution for the database storage of NC cutting tool's multi-parameter. The operation on cutting tool database is simplified, and the performance and structure of database is optimized. The solution is well used in the system.2. The modularity method of NC cutting tool is discussed. Based on which, the rule base for cutting tool intelligent choice & matching is established and the result of cutting tool intelligent choosing & matching is analyzed. The time of cutting tool choice & matching is shortened, and the production cycle is accelerated. The production efficiency is improved, and the cost of cutting tool choosing & matching is controlled and optimized.3. The Data Grid component based on JSP Tag File is designed and developed. It realized functions such as the database resources display, paging, ordering, combinated query and Excel export. With this code-reuse method, the efficiency of software development is improved.4. The technology of cutting tool order form automatic generation is analyzed and studied. The requirement of cutting tool is forecasted with the PS and IVF algorithm, and the interface for the integration of production management system is realized.5. The integration of cutting tool management system with CAPP and DNC system is analyzed and studied. And the interfaces for them are designed.6.
