The Design And Implementation Of A College Teaching Reform Research Project Management System

Taking the teaching reform research project management system of the university which the author works for, the thesis discusses the demands, technology design and running condition of the higher schools’ teaching reform research project management. It analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the development on which account of the school’s actual requirement and using by ASP technology and SQL Server technology based on B/S framework. Then, it designed a solution on feasibility of the teaching reform research project management system which based on WEB and a structure of the system’s whole demands.Considering the teaching reform research project management demand of the school which the author work for and similar systems of other universities, and standing the practical needs, the author extended the functions of the usual teaching reform research project management system, and it fusion the teacher, evaluation experts and administrators. It designed the teaching reform research project management system which based on ASP and SQL Server technology.With the technology of ASP, SQL Server database technology, ActiveX component and HTML language, it created interactive dynamic teaching reform research project management system which based on WEB. As for the main content, the thesis detailed introduces the design and the realization of the projects’ application, the projects’ evaluation, the projects’ application, the projects’ concluding, dynamic information, the using of funds and the management of users and build a dynamic system. Taking the advantages of the campus network, such as speediness, efficiency, the convenient of operation, etc., it set up a well-done teaching reform project management system. Whenever and wherever if it needed, teachers can view and write the situation of the application through the login of network. The evaluation experts can do the projects’ evaluation which based on the needs and supervise the progress of project. The administrators can undertake variety of operations such as project approving, distribution of evaluation experts; write the using of funds and concluding the project. Using the friendly working interface, all users can utilize the system without additional installation. About the structure, the thesis analyzes the currently disadvantages of schools’ teaching reform research project management. Then, it researched on technologies in relation to the system. At last, it unfolded the design and development of teaching reform research project management system which based on WEB. With the framework of ASP+SQL, it’s developed and arranged easily, tested conveniently, promoted flexibility and so on.The teaching reform research project management system has a lot of advantages. The system has many characteristics, such as extensiveness, dynamics, subjectivity, efficiency, and so on. All of these can optimize the management of teaching reform research project.
