Social contact is the primary use of internet all over the world, signing into social-networking sites(sns) to acquire and sharing information is one thing that net citizen do every day. Social Media Marketing is one of the most popular marketing methods; enterprise can make their products’information be widely spread through social media. At the present, the mass media is highly developed, every enterprise is a "media", they release and spread information to achieve their aims of product sales, brand marketing, public relation and maintaining customer relationship. Each enterprise should take full advantage of social media and make them be a "we media". UGC (User Generated Content) is the mode which users generate content in the internet, and the social-networking sites is the best form of UGC mode. Due to millions of net citizen’s sharing social-networking sites is highly booming. Information sharing is the main function of social-networking sites(sns) and the power of sns’s development. Researching users’motivation, influencing factors and content’s feature of sharing information in the sns is important for social-networking sites and Social Media Marketing.Why are SNS users keen on sharing information? Which kind of content do they like? How to influence their sharing? These three questions are very valuable for both SNS and social media advertisers. Base on these three questions, the paper scales users’ motivation of sharing information in sns through qestionnairing survey and analyze the feature of SNS users’sharing information through Sina hot weibo, then we can include the influencing factors.This paper has five chapters. The fist chapter is an introduction which introducing the paper’s research background, object of study, research method, and at the same time, summarizing the research status of sharing information. The second chapter introduces the development of SNS, and analyzes mechanism of transmission of SNS through the 5W theory and it explores the motivation of users’sharing information in SNS.In the third chapter, it take the Sina hot weibo as sample to analyze the feature of sharing information which users are keen on.In the fourth chapter,it concludes the issues of sharing information in SNS and makes suggestions for SNS operation platform and enterprise. In the last chapter, according to the front chapters, it takes a summary for whole paper, and then, it expounds the shortcomings of this paper and forecasts the research tendency of information sharing in SNS.
