In recent years, the domestic demand for ironstone and coal has increased significantlywith the rapid development of economy construction. Ironstone, coal and other important energy are mostly transported by sea. Port handling, as the hub port, plays an important role in the process of energy input. Because the advantages of simple structure, convenient repair, belt conveyor has become the main process equipment for loading and unloading iron-stone, coal on bulk terminals. In use of advanced computer technology, network technology, electronic technology and automatic control technology, the development and design of reliable, economic port belt conveyor control system come with a high degree of national strategic significance and economic benefit.The paper mainly introduces the design process of conveying system network structure Based on Industrial Ethernet and Fieldbus, hardware design, software design, man-machine interface configuration, and system testing according to the requirement of port belt machine.Since the Project put into operation two years ago, belt conveyor control system run smoothly and create considerable economic benefits for the enterprise. Design and implementation of this project will play a reference role in the construction of domestic and overseas bulk cargo port.
