Belt conveyor is one of the most important devices for coal-mine transportation undergrand.Due to some reasons,such as long distance,mutiple and disperse trouble-spots and high-risk danger,it is difficult to control and monitor.This paper analyses the possibility and requirement for Monitoring System of Belt Conveyor based on Embedded Technology.In addition,ARM chip called LPC2290 is treated as my research institute object.Finally,I have designed a whole range of monitoring system,which is used in coal mine.This system could be used at two working conditions:single debugging status and online execute status.What's more,according to the signal collected by sopt sensor,it has the ability to control belt conveyor by electric machine protector.At the same time,devices for status display can reflect scene status or breakdown situation,which makes itself convenient for overhaul by technologist.On software,embedded real time operating system calledμC/OS-Ⅱis used for classify and supervise all tasks,which has functions on avoiding low running speed and time-delay response,even halting.Two networks are designed in this project.On the one hand,CAN-BUS is designed as major communication way to connect other CAN nodes.On the other hand,TCP/IP protocol is used to connect monitoring room in ground.At the same time,some processing methods is supplied to enhance reliability,so as to promote product performance.
