Design And Implementation Of The Popularization Of Plant Science Application Based On The IPad Platform

For the past few years, with the development of mobile terminals photography technology and the dissemination of social network, plants and plant photography in the popular crowd is becoming a kind of fashion in recent years. People’s interest of how to recognize plants is gradually heating up. In such a market environment the Botany, one of the important subjects in the field of academic just has such an opportunity to educate the mass and the whole people about plant knowledge.Along with the rapid development of mobile internet industry, mobile media/tool is the best choice of communication and information transmission, and the APP become the best way to present them. Through making a comprehensive view of the domestic and foreign App products about plants/tree, we find out that most of the Apps are confined to the field of children science education, and there’s information display always presents pure academic nature. The contents are more involved in a lot of specialized knowledge, and they use to present in a rigid and circumscribed way. For practical value concerns the Apps can’t meet the actual demands of people, but just the development blank give the App in botany broad space for development.The fundamental aim of Botany research is serving for the public, but if we apply botanical knowledge and interesting content just in textbooks, we will be unable to achieve this goal. Ornamental tree, the popularization of plant science application is a practical software and aimed at spreading plant knowledge.The application select 188 normal trees in northern China or Beijing as the test subjects, it effective uses of the induced factors, the ornamental characteristics of the plant, to guide users visual attention, but not the traditional ways identification and classification by family, genus and species. It spread the plant knowledge to user through popular and graphical language. In addition, by extending the number of auxiliary features to enhance it’s social attributes, so as to enhance the user’s interactive experience. For a full description of the the application’s design process, this paper systematically introduces the thinking on the application during the whole design process, Including the early demand analysis, design of the medium-term, and implementation of the later stage, from the designer’s perspective.
