Under The New Media Environment, Minor Crime Reports Of Traditional Media Faces The Risk Of Privacy Infringement

Minor crime news reports are limited by the source of information, information of new medias will be content in a certain extent, and because of some information involves the privacy of minors and makes the media in the risk of violations of privacy. Minors and their guardians put private information online, others put and diffuse privacy information without the consent of the holder. These privacy information has made public, the traditional media report may violate of the minors’right of privacy without careful handling. In addition, the hidden measures of the traditional media to avoid infringement risk in the traditional media era, also face the possibility of failure because of rich source of information in the new media era.Under the new media environment, traditional media face the risk which result from not sound the minors privacy law regulation in our country, weak citizen privacy consciousness, and the impact of the new media. Traditional media also meet the demand of the public right to know and the pursuit of economic interests and the status quo of legal knowledge to improve.Analyzing causes of media tort, this article attempts to put forward measures to avoid infringement risk. From a macro point of view, the traditional media need to establish the operable guidance and reporting concept. The media need to have a practical handbook of news reports to cope with the new media environment,at the same time,to establish the secure and prudent concept to guide the news reports; From the micro level, the traditional media need to take targeted measures to avoid risks. Putting forward the feasible countermeasures with practical significance for different channels may leak minors’ privacy and the type of privacy was leaked.
