With the change of the new technology, the way of people access to information is gradually changing from television, newspapers and radio to the Internet, the Internet has become the main way of people access to information, a lot of news by the fastest speed to a computer mobile terminal based on the Internet. The Internet brings the enormous effect of public opinion in recent years, and affects the cognition and attitude of audience, change the way of the public receive news information behavior.In China, the Chinese character she first appears in a modern poet from Liu Bannong “taught me how to don’t miss her”, and then she has become Chinese characters, the word became a Chinese dictionary just in the history of one hundred years. The American dialect society was held word of the century. Finally the word “she” defeated “science”, “freedom” and other words, become the most important word in 21 st century. All this means that women will play a more important role in the 21 st century. Feminist movement in the west has experienced a whole century, really into China has experienced more than 30 years, the media as a cultural mapping, also passed the corresponding value judgment in the dissemination of information and the mainstream values, women as constitute an integral part of the world, news reports about female natural won’t lack, news reports and how women? In a patriarchal society’s barriers, through the perspective of feminism research network media news reports the characteristics and the causes of female image, it has theoretical value and practical significance, the female images in the media is the main issue, feminist media studies in the age of the Internet to research the network news reports for text has enriched the connotation of the feminism media research and extension.In this paper, there are five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction, the content are the selected topic background and significance of this article, and around the feminist and communication, female images in the media and other related keywords to review previous research results, the each period of the representative research works at home and abroad were reviewed and comb. Put forward the theoretical value and practical significance of this study and research methods.In the second chapter, firstly defines the concept of image, the image of women in the media and media of woman, and summarizes the characteristics of network news communication, to lay the theoretical basis of this study and shows that the social gender theory is the cornerstone of feminism and communication research, it refers to the social expect for male or female on the common value. Gender is not innate, it is by the social and cultural construction, people’s behavior characteristics and social roles are conducted by gender norms, and it is imposed on the male or female social norms. People look forward to the society as a benchmark of social gender and gender consciousness are in the process of socialization of continuous acquisition.The third chapter combines the quantitative and qualitative methods, use content analysis for Tencent news reports about the women in the rolling news. Sampling method to select samples, in this paper colected construct week’s respectively statistical sample of news reports, reports the theme, women in the news in social roles, family roles, frequency, and classifying of women reported in the statistics. Feminists believe that Internet can change the discrimination of women, but the news report way to strengthen and consolidate of female stereotypes, still not of equality between men and women lead the way.The fourth chapter explains the deep-seated reasons for this phenomenon, using relevant theories to analyze it from the root causes, and the female image in network news is distorted and mutation, the leading cause of this phenomenon is the Internet business interests and consumerism culture combined. Secondly, audience in the face of such information, although not looking forward to accept the information, in the circumstance of asymmetric they choose silence aphasia. Investigate its hidden reason behind the root cause, is the result of the long-term infiltration under the patriarchal rule form.In the fifth chapter, after the transmission process female images on the network news reports had certain understanding, the network media reported how should focus on women, report women, and presents suggestion how to explain image of women. First of all, pose suggest to women’s own request, they should promote the awakening of self-consciousness. Second, to the point of building media, media practitioners should improve women proportion in policy makers, social media practitioners to strengthen gender consciousness, avoid medium of women under the male thinking. Third, in terms of media content construction, should shape from a single one-sided to comprehensive real female image, strengthen news reports on women’s issues and the women’s movement, and strictly control the network media should strengthen self-discipline. Through these countermeasures, in the hope of network media to correctly guide the audience, spread positive images of women, for women the right attitude and values, and create a good environment for media and social values.Feminist thought that the arrival of the Internet age will change the media image of women, but the network media did not change this situation, ignore on women’s issues in the news reports, portrayed them as hurt and weak role, confused and ignorant offenders, and selfless dedication, victims themselves and highlight the beauty image of good appearance. Change thissituation, it need media, society, the audience all work hard together, to embrace a harmonious communication environment.
