Torque is one of the important performance parameters of rotating machinery, torque sensor is a device that can monitor torque of equipment. Accurate real-time monitoring of torque is not only reflecting the state of equipment, but also it can provide the necessary reference for improved device performance. At present, torque sensor was designed “motor base with shaft extension” in structure, the torque sensor must be installed in a fixed motor base in working process, through the coupling both ends of the shaft extension can connecte with other equipement.For this kind of torque sensor it was widly used in mechanical parameter monitoring or testing powere before the equipment leave factory, but it can not be used in industrial field for torque real-time montoring.In view of the existing structure of the torque sensor defect, in this paper it came up with a wireless synchronous torque sensor.This torque sensor has a gyratory structure, it can keep the synchronized action with coupled equipment and get real-time torque and speed information of test equipment through the Wireless transceiver technology, so that it expanded the scope of application of the torque sensor from the laboratory to the industrial site.The issue of this paper start form “Mechanical Design and Theory”, “Design of Hardware”and “Performance Testing and Calibration”,to conduct design and research on wireless synchronous torque sensor. To make a physical prototype, further the static calibration experiments and the dynamic performance test were carried out, the result shown that the design principle of wireless synchronous torque sensor was correct, the performance reached the goal of the research.In this project.Firstly, the theoretical research of wireless synchronous torque sensor was made, it focused on the principles and methods of torque measurement, the mathematical model of the torque sensor was set up, in order to ensure the structural reliability of the design, the finite element analysis of the torque sensor was made. Secondly, the hardware of torque sensor was desgined and the physical prototype of torque sensor was manufactured. Finally, the static torque sensor calibration was made by a kind of torque sensor static calibrating test-bed, it completed a dynamic test of torque sensor relying on ZDY540 full hydraulic drilling rig at last.In short, this thesis of the wireless synchronous torque sensor, its theory of research, method of research and the thinking of design can provide a reference for the development of similar products.
