By using network communication technology, remote calibration can control the whole calibration processes currently and remotely. It’s a new calibration method, which can improve the efficiency of measure calibration. Aiming at the complex assembling structures and low calibration automation degree of torque sensor, this dissertation puts forward a new calibration method, that we combine the automatic calibration with remote calibration. Researches on the remote calibration system of torque sensor overcome the weakness of traditional calibration whose cycle is long and efficiency is low.Firstly, this dissertation introduces the present research of the subject and its meaning. Then it expounds the basic concepts, characteristics and construction of remote calibration; establishes the calibration items and methods of torque sensor by consulting torquemeter’s calibration specification. On the basis of these, it presents the detailed design scheme of remote calibration system of torque sensor. After by solving the key technical issues of calibration system, it develops the remote calibration system of torque sensor and analyses the electromagnetic interference and suppression in the calibration system. Finally, by conducting the system debugging and calibration experiment, it completes the remote calibration of torque sensor.The remote calibration system is designed to control the whole calibration processes of torque sensor, which can be calibrated under its operating mode. It achieves the goal that the calibration processes load the torque and acquire, save and handle the calibration data automatically and its calibration efficiency is highly improved than traditional calibration methods. It is suitable for the calibration of torque sensor which the measuring range is blow to 0~7.5N.m, and it can calibrate the revolving torque sensor whose accuracy is less than ±0.3%F·S.
