Accompanied by the development of the aviation industry, aviation media is gradually developed. And airborne TV is a very important part of aviation media. Limited study groups involved in the current domestic academia for airborne television research, among which most are the news media practitioners and aviation media managers.Not many professional researchers and scholars joins this exploration. It leads a superficial and unsystematic research with rare countermeasures and less practical significance. Since 2013 there is a current nationwide upsurge of established local airlines. Seven local airlines, such like Ruili, Qingdao airline, China southern airline, Urumqi, Fuzhou, Henan airlines, nine yuan, and Beibu gulf air set up. Thus the thorough research to the aviation on-board TV has the academic value and practical significance.This thesis mainly adopts the method of literature review, comparative study, case study. The author also has in-depth interviews with the staffs in Eastern airlines, China southern airlines, Xiamen airlines, Jiang Xi airlines investment company and international airport companies in northeast of Nanchang. Firstly, this study based on definition of aviation media and airborne TV concept, making a comparison with building television and bus TV media comparison, discussing the development status and characteristics of boat beautiful medium from China Eastern aviation media and media airborne TV media. And then under the context of financial media era context, this paper try to find the existing problems in domestic airborne TV media. Finally based on the Eastern media, this thesis put forward a typical domestic airborne TV business development dilemma countermeasures from six aspects. It includes the extend from airborne TV industry chain, building of the project public film and cooperation from local governments. Thus the author expect that this model will promote air media market competition, improve the operation mode, looking for new economic growth point of aviation media and finally realize ground to air linkage.
