At the beginning of the 21st century, reality show program wave swept the world, and caused much wave in China. Reality Show be grafted constantly with local show program in our country, more and more types of programs are mixed with reality elements, such as music talent show, educational program, job program, dance classes, sports program, and so on. The using of reality elements also let television producer tasted good, especially is most obvious in music reality show on TV.In 2004, the music reality show Super Girl performed in Hunan TV made a great achievement, Super Girl won over audience in its entertainment and popularity, followed by imitation of each big TV. For a time, various music talent show in rapid succession. After a few brilliant years, the homogenization of the music reality show of the grassroots star become more and more serious, and it fell into the vortex of the vulgarization and dislocation of the value, and showed weakness. Until early 2013, Hunan TV created star music reality show "I’m a Singer" on screen, return to essence of music programs ideas, and caused the resonance of the audience. Whether according to the strong reaction from audience of the show or the ratings data which provided by professional organizations, this program has achieved great success, and become benchmarking of music reality TV show.For a TV show, success is not only the innovation on the content, but also show the success of the marketing strategy. Reality star music will be the emergence of the social soil and cultural background to comb, analysis the characteristic of star of music reality TV show. In under the guidance of the relevant theories of communication, in this article the case of "I am a singer" analysis of the text, reading the reality show in the program elements. From the perspective of media marketing, "I’m a singer" of product strategy, channel strategy, promotion strategy three important aspects were discussed, and put forward the thinking of reality star of such programs.
