The arrival of knowledge economy and information society era lead to a rapid change in communications and computer technology dramatically changed the service mode and daily work of university library in our country. And with the accelerating apply in network and Internet, the reader’s demand is also more individuation and specialization. It is time for university library to change their manage mode and human resource management so as to adapt to a new ear. Although many scholars had researched much in the relationships among human resource management, organization level and individual level both in theory and practical, it is still scant in the research domain in the relationship between university library human resource management and individual level. However, the develop and manage in university library human resources are critical for a university to improve organizational performance and scientific research ability, which made the research domain have great significance both in theoretical and practical.In order to obtain more results in the relationship between university library human resource management and individual employee, our research start first in the review of human resource management practices and employee behaviors literatures, then based on social exchange theory, reciprocity principle and organizational support theory proposed our theoretical hypothesis model.274 questionnaires were obtained in 20 university libraries, using SPSS19.0 and AMOS soft wares to deal with data to examine their relationships, our results showed that:1. University library human resource management practices have positive effect in employee in-role behavior. Selection and configuration、employee motivation and occupational safety practices have positive effect in employee in-role behavior, but performance management and employee involvement practices have little effect.2. University library human resource management practices have positive effect in employee organizational citizenship behavior. Employee motivation and occupational safety practices have positive effect in employee organizational citizenship behavior, but selection and configuration, performance management and employee involvement practices have little effect in employee organizational citizenship behavior.At the end are research results, we proposes some management advices concerning to some problems in university library human resource management, and research deficiency and the future research direction are also proposed in this part.
